Washington, DC flight to Grand Junction, CO. Rent car, drive to bed & breakfast (Dream Keeper Inn) in Moab, Utah. Visit Canyonlands National Park.

Friday, 9/25
Spend day hiking in Arches National Park. (Overnight at Dream Keeper.)

Saturday, 9/26
Take fairly long drive to get to Goblin Valley State Park. Take scenic route 24, stopping for loop at Capitol Reef National Park. Continue down route 12 to Escalante.
Overnight at Boulder Mountain Lodge in Boulder, UT.

Sunday, 9/27
Tour Escalante National Monument including Burr Trail.
(Overnight at Boulder Mountain Lodge.)

Monday, 9/28
Continue on route 12 scenic drive to Bryce area, taking detour to Kodachrome Basin. Then visit Bryce National Park.
(Overnight at hotel outside Bryce.)

Tuesday, 9/29
More hiking in Bryce. Drive to Zion National Park; overnight at Zion Lodge inside the park.

Wednesday, 9/30
Spend entire day at Zion National Park. (Overnight at Zion Lodge.)

Thursday, 10/1
Make the long drive to Green River. (Overnight at Bankurz Hatt B&B in Green River, UT — not recommended.)

Friday, 10/2
Drive into Colorado to see some of Dinosaur Country near Grand Junction. Fly home.
