Shuttle bus between Dulles International Airport and Letterforum

Letterforum is offering shuttle bus service only between Washington's Dulles International Airport (IAD) and James Madison University, which is two hours away. Letterforum's airport-university shuttle bus will operate on Saturday, July 22 and Saturday, July 29. The service is $20 each way, and must be reserved and paid for in advance.
Send in this form with payment immediately!

(If you are not arriving by plane but would still like to take advantage of the Dulles shuttle service, please make sure you have contacted us about this and that we have you on our shuttle list. Once you let us know when you can be at Dulles, we will assign you to a specific shuttle.)

When you arrive at Dulles, please go to the baggage claim area, where Letterforum signs and balloons will lead you to Letterforum Greeters waiting to welcome you. Make sure your name is checked off on their list of registered passengers for the shuttle.

Your contact in case your flight is late, missed, etc., will be Jenny Nicholson, 202-997-4922. Please keep her cell phone number handy and let her know if you're having a problem making a specific shuttle. If you arrive early, there are coffee shops and gift shops to while away your time. Remember to relax and enjoy!

PRIVATE VAN

Letterforum will also have a small passenger van (for a $40 one-way fee) between Dulles and JMU to accommodate those who are not arriving when the shuttle bus is operating and are not renting a car (e-mail for more information).

RENTAL CAR

Taxi service from the airport is extremely expensive, so another option is renting a car. Parking on campus is free and having a car makes it easy to visit area attractions.

If you're planning to rent and would be willing to give a ride to someone arriving at Dulles at about the same time, please e-mail your flight information.

DRIVING TO LETTERFORUM:
Want a rider? Need a ride?

We will help match participants who are driving to Letterforum with those who need rides. Please e-mail your offers and requests.

Driving directions to JMU
On-campus parking is available free of charge. Please park where directed and walk to Registration in Warren Hall without your luggage. You'll then be directed to a parking lot close to your assigned dorm.
